"Extremely rare ore mined from the deep sea, imbued with the power of the ocean"

What are Sea Stones?

Sea stones are an item stored in the knapsack. They are used exclusively for evolving end-level equipment. Because of this, sea stones are vital for end-game progression and are one of the most sought-after resource, even by top players. They are a pain to get and one of the huge grinds this game has to suck your money or time (Or both!)

So without further ado, here is what you will be pouring your sea stones, and the odd spar and mithril ingot, onto:

Relic Evolving:Relics are a NFS piece of equipment added early 2016. They are fused by collecting fragments in the challenge abyss or purchased through special events, and are unique in that they can be upgraded similar to spells.Well guess what? They require sea stones as well. Relics also require a special resource called demonite ingots. Demonite ingots are aquired through breaking down other relics in the alchemy lab.

The following show the cost of fusing, upgrading and the stats for each level.

Level 1 Relic Stats:
  • Dragon Orb (30 fragments) (Lvl1) | Spell Cooldown 35%, Dizzy Attack 6%
  • Giant Fist (30 fragments) (Lvl1) | Movement Speed 25%, Attack Speed 3%
  • Templar Sword (35 fragments) (Lvl1) | HP 200, Critical 9%
  • Poison Fang (35 fragments) (Lvl1) | Attack 1, Force 10%
  • Medusa's Eye (40 fragments) (Lvl1) | Absorb 3%, Hit 4%, Weakness Attack 5%
  • Colossal Staff (45 fragments) (Lvl1) | Attack 2, HP Regeration 2/sec, Block 4%
  • Dololo's Helmet (45 fragments) (Lvl1) | Defence 1, Movement Speed 5%, Cooldown 10%, Evasion 6%

Acquiring Sea Stones:
Sea Stones can be acquired by:
  • Daily Task (1/day from the final chest reward)
  • Alliance Battle Rewards (1-6 usually, but not guaranteed to recieve)
  • Gift From the Heavens (Rewards, not a reliable way of acquiring)
  • Seal/Crusade event drops (12-36, depending on how many battles. These drop events usually occur once a month.)
  • Challenge Abyss (10 is the maximum I have recieved)
  • The Seal (6-?, 7-?, 8-?)

There are various other ways to acquire sea stones, but the ones above are the main sources.
The Daily Chest can be acquired every day by "Fleeing" Conquest, Seal, and Crusade battles (This does not consume a battle, but does count as a daily task attempt) and sweeping them until you have 20/20 adventure battles, 9/9 seal, 9/9 crusade. During a sea stone event, if you spend no mojo, you will recieve 12 sea stones per day (From 3 free seal, and 3 free crusade.). If you spend the maximum per day you will recieve 36 per day (9 Seal, 9 Crusade).

Unfortunately, sea stones are not cheap with money, nor easy to grind. This will take you forever and many players have been level 60 for a long time, and pour all their mojo into sea stone events and such. Get used to it!

What should I upgrade first (Equipment)?
Because sea stones are such a pain to acquire, and the upgrades cost so many stones, it is essential to judge what to save for, and what to spend on (Assuming you have full egyptian gear)... Many players have different opinions on this topic so I may need your input below, however most players agree that priorities include upgrading:

MELEE & RANGED:
1. Weapon for Succubus.
The succubus, even with high level gear, will still die easily, so players who can't afford to upgrade all the armor will benefit most from upgrading the succubus weapon. This will allow her to pump out the most damage while the melee hero can tank. However don't completely abandon her armour either.

2. Armour for Melee hero.
Your melee hero is weak compared to a fast-firing succubus, so his job is to take as much damage as he can, while your succubus kills the heck out of everything. His armour will aid him greatly in this, although even with top armour, killing a succubus with a melee is quite a feat (Watch tournamant replays for proof).

DUEL MELEE:
1. Weapon for Berserker, then Behemoth.
This comes down to personal opinion, but remember that berserker weapon deals much more than Behemoth weapon does, and this is vital when trying to take down enemy heroes.

2. Armour for Both.
Armour = more surviability. In Little Empire, it is a game of stacking the tiny buffs that could potentially give you and edge over you opponent.

Remember that as much as you can, your next upgrade will depend on what will give you the most stats for the cost (Attack, defence, attack speed, etc), so you need to decide for yourself.

What should I upgrade first (Relics)?
Relics are damn expensive. There it has been said. Okay so which ones should you invest into upgrading? Here is my rating assuming you have access to all of them.
  • Dragon Orb - 6/10 - Great for seal/conquest/crusade where you need as much cooldown as you can get. It is also not the worst in pvp. Can be used on melee or succy.
  • Giant Fist - 1/10 - Pretty much trash IMO, Movement speed is not very highly valued and very little attack speed.
  • Templar Sword - 3/10 - An odd one, grants more health for tank, but also critical for succy. Pretty bad just because there are better ones.
  • Poison Fang - 4/10 - An acceptable relic for succubus if you don't have access to any better. Force is always nice for bigger crits and attack points are good too.
  • Medusa's Eye - 9/10 - The usual go-to for succubus-users. Absorb gives a bit more regeneration, 4-12% more acuracy is very nice, and 5-18% weakness attack is powerful.
  • Colossal Staff - 7/10 - A defensive/offensive option, usually for a melee hero. Regeneration is usually irrelevant, especially vs a succubus. Melee has a lot of block & attack already, so not the best choice IMO.
  • Dololo's Helmet - 10/10 - This is probably the best relic out there yet for melee. 1 Defence per relic level, tad of movement speed, very nice cooldown, and more much needed evasion for tanking. Crazy at level 5.

MELEE & RANGED:
  • Dololo's Helmet
  • Medusa's Eye

DUEL MELEE:
  • Dololo's Helmet x2
OR
  • Dololo's Helmet
  • Colossal Staff

So now you have chosen your relic, should you upgrade them over equipment? Answer:
  • Pay 2 Win: If you wanna pay for it, get level 4-5. It will cost you a ton of cash though.
  • Pay a bit/grinder: Do the first few relic levels. They are much easier and cheaper.
  • Free 2 play: Is there any hope for you? Focus on grinding scrolls, breaking down equipment, and you will get there... someday. :(

Also note that to upgrade your relic, you not only need to fuse the relic first, but fuse others AND BREAK THEM DOWN to get demonite bars.

In summary, most level 60 players have level 1-2 relics, and most focus on their equipment upgrades, so I recomend that.

I just wonder why camel didnt use demon stone for demon set or elemental stone for elemental set. These sets are not "sea" thing such a sea set..

Comments

jonodragon  It doesn't make sense like that. But remember that demonite bars are crazy rare. I'm thankful that it's sea stones.  Post time 2016-08-22 06:46:51

I believe the Camel should increase the probability of success of sea stones, for example, I accumulated 80 maps and gotten had accumulated only 20 sea stones.

I assume you mean in the challenge abyss? If so, I don't get sea stones very often, but when I do, it's like 10 at least.
