Suggestion:

Create a castle wall that protects you from a single footman/small army. If wall is not destroyed in an X amount of time, enemy troops flee back without any information from your castle (troop formations/castle take over). The castle wall does not attack back, it's main purpose is to protect you from scouting and takeovers from a single footman. Castle walls are upgradable.

We all hate that one stupid footman coming in and pillaging your castle. Instead, this will:
1) Stops that 1 annoying footman scout/take over.
2) Make your enemy send more troops to destroy the wall so they can see what your formation is or take it over.
3) Stops that 1 footman from taking away your 6 daily rep defenses!

I know that it's possible Camel might make a ninja w/ the scouting ability, but I'm sure a lot of us are tired of losing to one footman and I think this is a good upgrade of our castle defenses. Why else do we have a castle that can't protect us from 1 footman? Even the village wench can kill a footman!

At least I would even feel better knowing my castle was over run by a small army instead.

You gotta defend your castle friend!   If you don't want to post a full army (which you should), then you should at least leave a couple of rows of troops there.  A row of footies or knights with magic and knives or arrows behind will take care of scouts.

I always have defenses, but most of us have to sleep and when we are taken over, there are no defenses to save us. This will protect people from constantly getting trained while their defenses are down by a single unit.

What if you just want them to come in?  Sometimes there are battles not worth fighting... If you are low on units and you see... TNA Leader, Apgar... you don't want to lose units.. Just let them in and end the misery... Because you might not able to defend or even clear them from your list....

Another case is, where I would like for them to come in.. so I can attack them for constant footing....

Hi Viet,

They can still come in, the castle wall doesn't kill any units, just wards off units not able to destroy a wall to get to your army.

And to your second part, maybe give the option to have the castle wall (or now I think about it, bridge) active or inactive.

Just like in a real castle conquering scenario, if the walls are down they can come through, if they are not they have to destroy it. Maybe a bridge that goes up and down would be a better example than a castle wall.

well,, basically,, how can a footman conquer a whole kingdom? lol,, :p a full villager would destroy a footman,, i like this idea so much especially like you say, destroying the castle wall before fighting to conquer the kingdom is cool

No this wont happen especially with the peace cards in play at the moment. In my opinion, as a player who doesn't buy mojo, and thinks that the peace cards are generally way too expensive for the benefit, I would love to see something along the lines of maybe another sort of peace card, purchased with gold/gems. Say you buy that card, activate it, and if you lose a defense, once your castle is free, the card will be used up and it will automatically reset your defensive formation similar to what happens in alliance battles with ab hosting. Do i think camel will do this? Not with the potential gains from the peace cards, but id love to see some kind of gold/gem sink, for people like myself who make and lose 1-2 million a day in game but have nothing to spend it on, as well as some sort of defense against constant attacks while I sleep (that doesn't cost me 70 fricken mojo a night...)

But i want it to stay the way it is. The people that always get in the rankings for the top 50 rep gets their friends to attack them to earn rep once it resets. We should be able to foot spam them to prevent them fromgetting to much spars.

How about .. to deter one foot man /scout invasion. Have the castle wall have a certain HP level that need to be met in order to be taker over. If the required is met then Castle defence formation is  reveld. This should stop Players from sending one foot man scouts.

Hope you can understand what im saying.

Hendrick  Hi Dave! Yes, I believe this will be the requirement since the wall will be upgradable, if the footman/army cannot break the wall in the X time frame, then they are defeated and head home. :)  Post time 2013-05-03 01:33:22
