It would be totally boss if commanders and second-in-command could turn off or manually control alliance members that are AB hosting. I have guys that are AB hosting into bombs and attacking the main base in instance battles before we can get all of the stars. Do you guys think that this would be a good idea?

Alliance adventure is a team effort. This would remove that element from the game.

As much as I hate members going after the fort before stars or I get my kills, or having members sit in the castle when there is a wide open path to victory, I agree with man. You have to get your whole team on board and if they won't comply, maybe a new team member needs to take their place.

No, people ABing instead of showing up to command their armies removes them from the team.  At least a thinking human can guide their troops to better places.  People who actually show up still have control of their armies.

Edit:  Sorry, I may be fuming because my alliance barely lost a winnable battle (comp had 1.5 armies) partly due to AB sending a few armies all over the place instead of the path our strategy called for.

That's true, I'm not so much a fan of the AB hosts since they seem to be doing random things.

For instance instead of going for the castle that we need to capture and the AB host is one of the last ones left.

They run around in circles for a  few minutes and then suicides into a bomb, we lose! Yay!

In alliance adventure there is no limit to how many members can join. Your suggestion to remove AB players would make your team weaker rather then stronger.

Regarding the comment you made to AZWarrier. You should consider having members from specific a time zone so more member are likley to be active.

I didn't mean remove the players that were using AB, I meant commander or 2ic be able to control their armies (at least to some degree).  The AB does an excellent job of removing them already by having them run into bombs or down the wrong path.

I think the commander should have an option to control AB hosted alliance members.  Sometimes members can't make the battles but would like to contribute troops -- this would allow the alliance to still be competitive when all members couldn't be on their phones/tablets at the time of battle.

My original thought was that when an AB-hosting player took a node a little stop sign or X would pop above their arrow and a commander/second-in-command could halt them at the location. This way you can at least get buffs while they hold a position instead of them randomly meandering into a teleporter, wasting it, to teleport directly onto a bomb (it happened yesterday to one of my alliance members; stupidest thing I've ever seen in my life.)

Or have Camel install some software that made an army that's on AB be a little smarter about the way it travels. If there are armies, it goes after armies. If there are no armies, it goes after castle. If there is a bomb in front of them, they turn around. Not saying this is easy by any means, I just think it would be hard for a commander to have to guide his army, try to guide all live players in battle tactics, and then have to worry about everyone else that happens to be on AB. Just my 2 cents.
